לרגל יום האישה הבינלאומי החל היום, הוחלט על שיתוף פעולה ראשון מסוגו בין נטפליקס לאו"ם (הגוף שהחליט על כינונו של יום המוקדש לתרומתן של נשים וקידום זכויותיהן בעולם עוד בסוף שנות ה – 70) שמהותו : בחירה של נשים בתעשייה – יוצרות וכוכבות על תכנים מועדפים המציגים נשים בכל הסוגים בתפארתן.
התכנים המוצעים יהיו זמינים למנויי נטפליקס לאורך כל השנה ויכללו סרטים עלילתיים, דוקומנטריים וסדרות ובין הנשים הבוחרות, ניתן למצוא את: סופיה לורן, סלמה הייק, מינדי קלינג, פטרה קוסטה ואחרות !
